  • * WHAT...Dangerous rip currents and rough surf expected.
  • * WHERE...Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida Beaches.
  • * WHEN...Through late tonight.
  • * IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away  from shore into deeper water.
  • *PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.

Breezy onshore winds today will continue poor to hazardous  boating conditions across the coastal waters and lead to rough  surf and a high risk for rip currents at area beaches.  Conditions improve this weekend. Isolated to scattered onshore moving showers are forecast  through tonight, with shower and storm chances increasing  

Friday and into the weekend with a passing disturbance aloft. - Seasonable temperatures are forecast through early next week.
