THE BREVARD COUNTY JAIL, Fla

The Brevard County Sheriff's Office announced a major drug bust in Cocoa, this morning.  

The raid took place on Jackson Street in Cocoa, after an investigation into illicit drug activities and sales at his residence.  SWAT Team members and Agents of The Brevard County Sheriff's Office took Terry Ozell Suggs into custody during a search warrant operation.

When SWAT Team and Members from the Special Investigations Unit came knocking on the front door, Suggs took off running "like a baby out the back door", The Sheriff says.  Agents and law enforcement personnel chased him down and then tasered the drug dealer before taking him into custody.

Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey said in a Facebook Public Post, "We don't care about your feelings when you pedal your poison here in Brevard County."

The post sent a strong message to the internet Karen's - and drug traffickers - who complain about public humiliation when it comes to suspects being arrested on heinous charges.  The sheriff doesn't care.  "You are going to jail if you break the law in Brevard County." 

The suspect in today's latest bust has a very long Felony conviction record which includes 70 total charges, according to the sheriff.  He has a total of 17 misdemeanor and 17 Felony convictions alike.

During the search, Agents found an overwhelming amount of narcotics, along with two handguns, a rifle magazine, and various amounts of ammunition. 

Items seized from inside the apartment were:

87.1 grams cocaine base

33.3 grams cocaine HCL

197 grams methamphetamine

25.1 grams fentanyl

56.6 grams MDMA

14.1 grams ecstasy

23.4 grams alprazolam

92.2 grams MDP

Suggs is being held at the Brevard County Jail on No Bond Awaiting Trial.
