13 Time Career Convicted Felon Arrested in Major Drug Bust by the FDLE

THE BREVARD COUNTY JAIL -- A thirteen-time convicted felon is back behind bars tonight after being arrested yet again by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement in Cocoa, Florida. 

The arrest of Terence Britt, of Cocoa took place at 156 Lynell Lane in Cocoa when a search warrant was executed at the residence.  SWAT officers and narcotics agents with the FDLE found the following:

2.5 pounds of crack cocaine

3,500$ cash

Several large bags of marijuana

and 2 guns

A second suspect, Phillip Salley, (DOB 02/18/1997) was arrested for possession of cocaine and paraphernalia, authorities said.

 

Police said in a press release:

“Our officers are working hard every day to make sure violent offenders are arrested and removed from our neighborhoods. The residents deserve to live in peace, free from blatant drug activity and prostitution. These arrests will have a positive effect on the quality of life in the neighborhood where residents can feel safe." 

 

"Agents are working closely with the State’s Attorney’s Office to ensure successful prosecution that will keep the suspects out of the community." ~ Chief Evander Collier IV.  

 

Police said the drugs had a street value of more than 100,000$.  Britt faces more than 15 years in prison if convicted.
