- The defendant posted $75,000 bond and is waiting trial
A Melbourne man is on trial for crimes relating to minors.
Authorities say 28-year-old Dylan Wayne Landers was arrested in late April after a victim came forward to investigators.
A 9 page criminal complaint says Landers met with a minor girl several years ago and engaged in intercourse and other sexual activity.
The unidentified victim told investigators that over the course of 4 years, Landers made inappropriate touching and rubbing of her leg and pulled out his penis and ejaculated in the victims mouth.
At one point, Landers was drinking beers while watching videos on his phone together and Landers suddenly began slowly touching her leg then moved the victim to the floor. Landers then told the victim to pull her pants down. That's when Landers pulled out his penis and penetrated the victim, according to the affidavit.
The victim reports the unlawful sexual activity took place over 20 times during the course of 4 years.
Investigators established probable cause and was able to serve an arrest warrant at Dylan Landers' home. Court records show Landers posted a $75,000 bond and it waiting trial.
Two search warrants have been executed on his phone and Instagram accounts.
He is represented by a private attorney and it is unclear when the next court date is.
