IXORA PARK -- MELBOURNE, FL --

  • Surprised and pleased neighbors woke up to loud bangs and noise coming from the Brevard County SWAT team during a drug raid.
  • Agents from the DEA and the Brevard County Sheriff's Office were on scene in the Ixora Park Neighborhood early Friday.

At least three people were taken into law enforcement custody early Friday morning after the Brevard County Sheriff's Office and the DEA served a search warrant in the Ixora Park Neighborhood in regards to illegal narcotics being sold at a house.

The raid, which happened around 8am, took place on East Ford Circle near Ixora Drive West.

The now closed-down drug house has been the subject of many complaints from fellow neighbors on the Nextdoor App regarding, noise, zombie-like creatures hanging out and heavy traffic in and out of the residence over the years.

The vehicle spotted in the driveway this morning after the SWAT raid also matches the description of the vehicle that has been recklessly driving down Ixora Drive at high rates of speed, illegally passing, slamming on the horn in a road rage fit because law-abiding vehicles are doing the 25 MPH speed limit. Because HOW DARE they do 25MPH in a residential street that kids play on and the elderly walk their dogs?

The vehicle and the property after agents and search teams left the premises.

We ask: Is this why the Lincoln SUV speeds up and down Ixora on a constant basis? Is this typical crackhead driving behavior. Is it because they are in desperate need to get home to serve their crackhead customers? Does this explain everything? We think so.

Another search warrant was served at nearby neighborhood just across from Ixora Park in Melbourne on Friday.

Is it time that Ixora Park and surrounding neighborhoods finally gets the much needed peace and quiet that the citizens clearly deserve now that law enforcement is cleaning up the community from the scum that exists? It's trash season here on The Blake Moia Show.

Who is next? We all shall eagerly wait. . . and we applaud it.
