Self-proclaimed "pro wrestling instructor" Chasyn Rance, and career habitual sexual offender Douglas L. Ryan.

Chasyn Rance, who runs "Team Dojo Academy" in Orlando, and is their "Head wrestler trainer", is no stranger to controversy.

Rance was previously convicted of having sexual contact with a minor between the ages of 12 and 15 dating back to 2008 according to records.  He has since been placed on the FDLE lifetime sex offenders list. Court documents reveal he repeatedly raped a young girl the age of 15 with promises of getting married in the future.

He was 25 at the time.

Last month, Rance was recently booked into the Orange County Jail, after reportedly failing to report a change in vehicle ownership, failing to report an internet ID or app name twice, and providing false registration info three different times

Florida law and Brevard County ordinances impose strict restrictions on registered sex offenders, typically barring them from school grounds and other areas where minors congregate.

Rance served time and was put on supervised probation, which included, a ban on interacting with minors, therapy counseling, and regular drug testing. According to a statement provided by Rance’s organization, "Team Vision Dojo", he has since returned to training minors with what they describe as “full knowledge of his past shared with parents.”

The statement acknowledged his criminal conviction but argued that Rance is one of the “best trainers in professional wrestling around” and that he has openly shared his past with parents.

The Blake Moia Show doesn't buy his claims.

Screenshots taken show Chasyn Rance "performing" and "training" with minors at his "Team Dojo Wrestling Academy".

The convicted pedophile has seemingly continued to find access to spaces such as Palm Bay High School, raising concerns from community members and prompting questions about oversight, background checks and enforcement at such events.

The event, which took place in Palm Bay High School’s gym, saw Rance and other wrestlers performing with special needs children, some of whom were signed to “one-day pro contracts” as part of the "InclusionMania experience".

The organizers of the event for the children were seemingly unaware of Rance’s status as a child sex offender.

While organizers promoted the event as a positive step towards inclusivity, the presence of a registered sex offender engaging with minors in a school setting has left parents and community members alarmed.

Chasyn’s brother Ashtyn was also convicted of sex crimes against a toddler in 2007.

The citizen who alerted The Blake Moia Show about this matter showed us information of at least 5 other affiliates of Rance and Team Vision Dojo with records of sex crimes ranging from child pornography to human trafficking and others.

It remains unclear how the violation of probation case will eventually end up.

Douglas L. Ryan

A Brevard County jury found DOUGLAS L. RYAN, 34, guilty of lewd or lascivious molestation of a child and lewd or lascivious conduct following a three-day trial presented by Assistant State Attorneys Elizabeth Garvey and Christine Babb.

Melbourne Police arrested Ryan in 2023 after the girl told her elementary school teacher that Ryan forced himself on her in a mobile home off West Eau Gallie Boulevard and John Rhodes Boulevard. He reportedly had volunteered to help the girl, and her family move from one unit to another nearby.

Witnesses at Ryan’s trial included the victim, now 11, her grandmother, a Melbourne Police officer, an investigator from the Department of Children and Families, and a forensic interviewer for the child protection team from the Children’s Advocacy Center.

After the jury’s April 30 guilty verdict, it heard further evidence and determined that Ryan is a Prison Release Reoffender, a status that mandates the maximum penalty of life of imprisonment.

Ryan had been free from jail only nine days, after violating his sex-offender probation from a previous offense. Ryan served eight years in prison for a 2011 conviction for lewd or lascivious battery on a child.

Ryan's appeal to the Florida state Supreme Court was also denied. He is being held at the Brevard County Jail awaiting transfer to state prison.

Records show Ryan has 16 total arrests in Brevard County.
