Multiple police units responded to another act of violence in Melbourne.
A shooting occurred around 8 p.m. on Sunday evening at the Wickham Club Apartments. Multiple witnesses made calls to 911.
Police reported finding two cars that had been recently struck by bullets.
As the situation unfolded, law enforcement mobilized quickly to assess the scene and began their search for the suspect, who fled away from the scene on foot.
Following the initial reports, a police K9 was utilized in the search, successfully locating the suspect hiding in nearby woods about 30 minutes later.
We reached out to the police department earlier and we were told to reach back in the morning. There are no word of any injuries or victims. The criminal police investigation is on-going.
