We are able to provide an update regarding a recent change of legal status for our 'ole pal, Mr. Jeffrey Fordley.  Our investigators were able to locate an arrest warrant for the professional con artist.  As previously reported, Mr. Fordley has stolen hundreds of thousands of dollars through fraudulent means and deception and has been on our radar for more than 4 months. 

Sources tell us tonight that he stole over $250,000 from his late mother's will. There seems to be a connection as well with the recent busts of illegally operated and unregulated slot machines. However, we cannot independently verify this at the moment. 

The warrants, issued out of New York on November 7th and 8th are for theft with the purpose to deprive with deception and another warrant was issued for grand theft. These would be considered extraditable felony warrants. Meaning, if Mr. Fordley were to be arrested here in Melbourne, then he would be forced back to New York (where he should be in the first place) to face those charges whether he wants to or not.
