Biden Says Only a Medical Condition will Stop Him

After being asked what it would take for the President to reevaluate staying in the 2024 election, President Joe Biden said he would consider dropping out if a “medical condition” emerged and doctors told him he had a problem.
“If I had some medical condition that emerged, if somebody, if doctors came to me and said, you got this problem and that problem,” said Biden to BET’s Ed Gordon in an interview last night.
Biden continued, reminding the audience that he always regarded himself as a “transitional candidate” and the recent presidential debate against former President Trump was a “mistake.”

“I made a serious mistake in the whole debate … and look, when I originally ran, you may remember it, I said I was going to be a transitional candidate. And I thought that I’d be able to move from this to passing it on to someone else. But I didn’t anticipate things getting so so so divided."
